hello sir,i need ur help...earlier i was using bsnl broad band connection of dwnload speed 512kb/sec with a plan of 2.5gb free dwnload.....today i got it converted to unlimited downloading plan with 256kb/sec plan......earlier downloading speed was nealy 50 60 kb/sec..and also i could download 3 4 movies at a time in just 7 8 hours...but now it is very hard to download a single movie over 24 hours...torrent download speeed has fallen to a maximum of 25 kb/sec........please help me out.....give ur suggestions.....u can mail me even on sharma_abhinav110@yahoo.com........ur suggestions r warmly welcome

Hello,

The speed your getting is correct. Most of the service providers gives more

download speed to the limited users so that the users can finish their

download limit very soon and then they can charge you per MB. Your bandwidth

is 256Kbps. So download speed will be 256/8=32KBps. So you are download

speed vary at 32KBps. Previous bandwidth is 512kbps, so your download speed

at that time is 512/8=64KBps. So your download speed vary at 64KBps at that

time. Sometimes you will be able to get higher download speed due to bursting.

Moreover, the upload and download speed is decided by your service provider.
