Save JPG files Closed

Question

Hello, 

I have Ubuntu and use Gimp application for creating pictures but there is not way how to save them into jpg files. There is gif but in no way JPG. While saving it in gif, it will not open at all on other computers. Please help me solve the problem and yeah, thanks in advance and hope to have the answer quicker than possible for it is for my school project. 

Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.6.9

Dear Dreg, 

Simply click on Save As, and after the title put .jpg, for example for Untitled, enter the name as Untitled.jpg and save the file.
