Hello Danny,
To format your pendrive in command line,open run and type cmd followed by pressing ok, lets say your removable device is detected and assigned the letter H,type format H: then press enter.You will be prompted to insert a disk in drive H then press enter,all you need to do is to press on enter and it will start to format the device.
