Hello,

I Need A Little Help. I Am Using A Internet Dongle on my main pc but i have a laptop i just got and i can connnect to the internet when i plug an ethernet cable into the pc that has the dongle init to the laptop and it works but i want to make the broadband dongle wireless so i dont have to use the ethernet cable. i seen something like this before where i can make my own network name for it but not sure where it was. can someone help please

Hello

I have a Virgin Media Superhub 3 that was installed last week and delivers the advertised speed of 300+mbs if wired by Ethernet cable. The problem however is that the WiFi performance is terrible (either producing less than 10mbs or dropping out completely in some rooms around the house). Virgin Media offered no help whatsoever saying that they can only guarantee broadband speeds into the router and not WiFi speed.

We are just about to get the upstairs of our 3 bedroom house re-wired and as part of this will install internet points in each bedroom, connected to the Virgin Media router via Ethernet cables.

Hi,

I have Windows Vista operating system for my home PC. I recently got the type II modem - the model is Teracom. While installing the wireless LAN drivers from the CD I got an error. However, my ethernet port is working and am able to connect to Internet through that.

But I need to set up WiFi for my laptop so that I can access the net without keeping my home PC on.

I have searched in the net but could not get a proper reply. someone help
