Hello, Sorry to sound sort of computer stupid. I have Windows 7 but my school has XP I caught this from school and I cannot find the "Run" button on Windows 7. To continue to reconvert my shortcuts back to files. I really need these for school and it has tax information and whatnot on it. Can anyone suggest to me where/how to get the "run" to show up.

Thanks

Windows 7 doesn't have the RUN command on the start menu by default. you need to right click the windows logo on the task bar and go to properties then go to the start menu tab and click on customize. scroll just about all the way down and you will see the Run Command option, check the box and press OK and now it will always be there when you open the start menu. another options is hold down the windows key and press R.
