How 2 instal SATA driver? where is it avail?

I am presently using HP dv5 note book laptop havin OS-Vista.. I want to Change to Xp.. Pls any one say, wot s the procedure.. moreover my laptop doest nt have SATA driver. Many say that SATA driver must be installed to change VISTA to XP. where this SATA driver wil be available. how to instal.. can i instal it directly in vista??

Pls do reply... pls techno people

Hi there,

Simply get in bios and disable sata mode then save exit settings and reboot from installation of xp cd.

For Installing XP v need SATA MOde. I am having HP dv5 laptop which does nt hav SATA Mode. where this SATA driver wil be available. how to instal.. can i instal it directly in vista??
