icons on screen not getting deleted Closed

Hello,  
i have got 2 icons on my desktop screen which get deleted when i press shift+del saying that you can restore them by going to control panel ......but it again reappears on refreshing.when i right click on the icons it shows only 3 options: cut, create shortcut & delete.........what should i do???? 


Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.10

What particular icons are you trying to delete?

there are 2 icons and they hav a shape like .nth file and nothing else

these icons are not visible in the desktop folder in my user account also
