I Bought My ASUS K50IJ-X3 computer and the Battery Charged then I Used The computer for 3 Days and Noticed The Battery Draining all the time and Eventually Drained to 0 and couldn't Turn it Back on. I Called The Place I Got it from Had another one Sent out to me and this one Seems to be Working Perfectly My Question is Does The Battery Light on the computer need to be on at all times? Its off now and I look on the side of the Screen and i Says 99% Available Plugged in Not Charging Is That a Good Sign? I just don't want to Go Threw the Hassel again of Calling the ppl up and Getting a New computer again

So Let Me know.

Hi there,

This is normal as you explained, when your adapter is connected to laptop and battery is already full the led will be off,try it you will see unplug your adapter and work with it till level of battery decreases then connect adapter it will light up.,as advice to increase its life have some tips from Faq:
