Hello, My Acer mouse doesn't respond for about a minute, after I wake up the computer. It used to respond almost immediately, but now I have to press both the left and right buttons and move the wheel, then just wait. What's the deal here??? I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

I've had the same problem, I don't know why but resolve by 'switching user' (I'm the only user, but tabbing to the Switch User button does it) or restarting.

I was using the touchpad. However... now that you mention it, that may have been the origin of my problem, I have installed different input devises. (Wacom Tablet, TackBall, number keypad.) (Vista OS installed.)
