Vaio to tv by hdmi

Hello,
hi im connecting my sony vaio to my LG HD ready tv by the HDMI lead ,ive pluged the lead in the back of the tv and to my laptop all good there .my laptop screen comes up on the tv all good there . when i play my i tunes the sound comes through the tv but only for about four or five mins then the sound only comes out of my laptop ,.
