acer screen Closed

Hello, 
I have an acer aspire 5610 and a month or two after the warrenty ran out my screen started to play up and now i have an inverted screen (black on white instead of white on black)  i can get round this no problem with a program that inverts the gamma ramp but after a while i can notice a slight screen burn but after about five mins the screen burns goes could any one offer any advice on what could be causing my screen to invert the colours thanks in advanced

Please confirm whether the graphic card is not faulty.

Hi,

It may be the lcd cable which got damaged while closing the lid and opening it,have it tested by an external monitor plugged to it ,if this works fine then take it to repair center or anyone you know can fix it for you .

the graphics aint a problem and laptop works fine on a external monitor so im at a dead end with this thing

The problem should be coming from the display cables to the monitor, please send it to a repair shop and get the matter confirmed.
