Unable to install win98 on my pc NTFS-FAT32

Hello,
i had formatted my drive c from my XP cd and then i rebooted it into dos mode and tried to install win98 on it after converting it into fat32 from NTFS but it displays that the drice is not detectable from dos and i tried to reformat it from dos it displays the same meaasge again and again . How can i format the drive C and install win 98 on it i was also unable to format the drive from winxp adn linux.

the second problem :
after installing xp sp2 and removing sp1 all was well but i was unable to install the sound driver the system just stopped responding again and again when i tried to install the sound driver from the win NT folder in the audio drivers folder. please help quickly

Hello,

Dualboot
U can't install Win98 after XP. U must always install the older version before the more recent.

Sound
If u have SP2 and a High Definition sound card, u must install UAA before the driver of ur sound Card ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp32501-33000/sp32646.exe
