Uninstalling windows XP sp3

Hello,

my windows are infected with virus and due to this my windows are not opening i cant even open control pannel so please help me to remove windows xp professional sp 3 from my PC(acer) and again installing windows i have got cd of windows but dont know to install and uninstall so please give me the steps
i shall be thankfull to u

To install Windows:
1. set BIOS to boot from the CD drive
2. turn off PC - insert Windows CD
3. turn on PC
4. Follow on screen instructions
