Hello,
I just bought a USB stick and have connected it OK to my laptop. It appears to be all OK and the laptop indicates it is receiving data from the local network. However each time I click on IE it goes into dial up mode and then tells me the page cannot be displyed etc. Can you help please? I am running XP and have a broadband connection.

if you initially had dial up service, you may need to delete that connection.........it's probably autodialing if you had dialup service first........or you may have accidentally made a dialup connection. just guessing from your provided details. hope this might help a little bit. good luck :)
