Hi error 404 means that you type the wrong URL or that Youtube was temporarely offline in your country

No this error is wide spread consistently.

I have the same 404 issue. It works on my mobile phone but not on my home network.

Hi guys, it's because the proxy is activated that you can't access to some sites and you have the 404 error
Here is a program to disable the proxy:

You download the files, close all applications then you install it.

Hi bionik, I am sorry for my ignorance. When I was in NY I never had a problem with youtube downloader but now I am in Cancun and have that 404 error. II downloaded the program like you suggested, but how do I disable the proxy? It will be done automatically by the program? I continue having the same error after the installation, so I guess I should be doing something more. thanks for your help and Happy New Year!!

Try cleaning the phone cache, download and use easy cache cleaner. Worked for me. :)
