Hello,
I have a broken toshiba laptop screen. I have since than purchased another toshiba and would really like to know how to get the info off my old one onto the new one, I have read comments listed below, however I'm not sure where the video output is on my computer and really don't want to mess anything up. please anyone willing to give some step by steps that would be so nice.... I realy need alot of the documents and alot of other items off the old one...

Thank you SO MUCH (in advance)

well i woulda fixed the old one but if you just want the documents of the old harddrive you could always just pull the hd from the broken one buy a 2.5/3.5 ide/sata to usb converter they sell them on amazon for like 20 bucks and just use the drive as an external hard drive via usb and transfer the documents to the new computer. labtop hard drives are usually super easy to remove look for biggest panel on bottom unscrew the screws and you should see the hard drive then usually just slide it out of the slot or pull it out of slot hook the adapter i told you to get up and its basically a usb drive plug it up to new comp and transfer files the same way you would transfer them from any removable storage device.
