Laptop screen cable

Hello,

I needed to replace my laptop (Compaq 610) screen, so I oredered from U.S.A. a new screen, but now the cable which is connecting screen to the laptop is too short, so I can't insert screen into the laptop. Is there a way to buy just the cable, I need the same one, but 10 cm longer. Thanks for your help!!!
