Windows explorer stops working

Try this 1
When you switch ON your laptop, keep tapping the "F8" key to get "Windows
Advanced Options"( if boot menu appears, press "Esc" key and keep tapping the
F8 key). Select the option "Safe Mode" --> Press Enter
After going to "Safe Mode", click on the below link and follow the instructions
given in Step 1

Now check if you are able to boot into windows normally.
When the desktop appears in the normal follow the remaining steps given in the
above link.
