Windows explorer stops working

Hello,
the screen suddenly goes redish after welcome message and satys that way. yesterday the windows explorer stopped working during kaspersky antivirus update.my dv2700 now restarts after giving a bluescreen.my laptop is running vista home edition. any help please?

Hello,

Try this 1

When you switch ON your laptop, keep tapping the "F8" key to get "Windows

Advanced Options"( if boot menu appears, press "Esc" key and keep tapping the

F8 key). Select the option "Safe Mode" --> Press Enter

After going to "Safe Mode", click on the below link and follow the instructions

given in Step 1

Now check if you are able to boot into windows normally.

When the desktop appears in the normal follow the remaining steps given in the

above link.
