There are 2 solutions:
1. First go to youtube.com ,choose a video to watch, when it starts to load press pause, right click on the video and untick on the first tab a choice that says hardware acceleration.
If you do not see this option then try No 2 below...
2. Right click on video, select 'about flash player' which will lead you to the adobe player test page. At the top you'll see a short animation that reads 'flash player successfully installed'. Right click it and this time you'll be able to select settings, the first tab (has a small 'play' icon), and untick the hardware acceleration
