Hello,
After plugging in the device. Go to device manager (In run type "devmgmt.msc") In Device manager go to "Universal serial bus controllers" It should list the storage devices that you have connected to your PC. Right click and then click "Uninstall. Remove the USB drive and restart your system.
Try connecting the device again, i think this should solve the problem.

You can also try to update the device driver for your Pen Drive, by clicking Update Driver through the Device Manager rarely works.
So you should check online and download the required device driver only from the manufacturer's website.
You can go directly to the official website by checking the Properties of your Device. The manufacturer is provided under the General tab of your device properties.
