Hi,

I have a Macbook and have just downloaded LimeWire from a website and just after the download I got a message asking for an urgent Security upgrade, so I followed the instruction.

Later I was talking about this to a friend of mine and he answered:

"DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS AS IT IS A SCAM AND CAN DAMAGE YOUR COMPUTER."

But I have already done it.

What can be done to protect my pc now?

Please help me!

Hello,

Since you are a Mac user, you have nothing to be worried about. It can't affect your computer. Simply remove that version (drag & drop) to the trash.

Download & install the official version from the LW website.
