Hello, I have a list of people's birthdays in a list in Excel. I want to retain only the day and month of the birthday and get rid of the year. For example, if the birthday is on 31 Jan 1977, I want it to be taken as 31 Jan only. This will help me sort the people based on the month of birth.
Please can anyone help?
Regards,

Make two column name Month And Date and put the formula
=month(a2) and Day(a2) respectively (suppose your date in cell a2).
Now its give you the month and date of the respective date and now you can sort accordingly.
