How to restore a computer to its factory settings windows vista

Hello,

I have an ASUS X83V. I have a two recovery disks that came with the computer, but I on't know how to use them or what to do with them. Please help.

Hi,

Boot from one of the disk mentioned number one/disk one ,it will start recovery process.When prompted insert the last one and all will be to factory settings.Remember to make backup of data if any else all will be erased completely.

But how do I boot from the cd? someone said to use the boot screen when i restart my computer, but i don't know what to do from there.

Hi,
Get in bios and change boot sequence from Hard drive to cd/dvd drive,save and exit settings.Cd must be in the drive and you will be prompted to press any key to boot from cd.
