How to open my laptop

Hello,
i have a problem and it is that i got a laptop from my grandfather and he died and when i opened it it was writen to write a pssword now i dont know the password and i doesnt have a cd-rom know how do i know the password if any body can help.

Google "Hiren's BootCD" download it on another computer. Its an ISO file that must be burned to a CD soul you can use it to boot from. It has some password cracking programs that might help. Sometimes you can remove the CMOS button battery and erase the password there. You need to download the service manual for the exact laptop to find where the battery is and how to safely disassemble the laptop.
