Go to your profile,
click "edit my info",
scroll to "email",
under "use another email address" click "add an email address",
enter a new mail address which is NOT registered in Yahoo so that Yahoo can send you a temporary password.
Click "preview" and then "okay".
Wait for some hours for the new address to get registered and then retry the "forgot password".
