what is ur motherboard?
i want to know the name and type
for eg INTEL D101 GGC or
ASUS P5G CMX
once i get the motherboard name i can tell about u its drivers
also let me now do u have a driver installed it with ur motherboard cd??

just instal Driver Genius Professional 2008 it is the best program that will automaticly detect the drivers that are missing on your pc just instal it update it and you are good to go it will give you the sound driver also,and here is the link to download the program:
