Hello,
I have an Advent 8215p laptop in full working condition only the screen is blank. The screen went very faint and now i cant see it at all. Also the battery is not charging at all. The screen went this way after using a univeral charger to charge my battery, as mine had broken however am not sure if that has any connection as to why the screen is no longer working. The laptop works fine as i am using it for this message and general use, i have just connected it to my desktop monitor. Can anybody help at all.
Thank You

Hello Die4,
Typical and recurring problem with laptops you have. When the screen is fainted, the backlights must be replaced by a qualified technician.
Sorry about the bad news chief but that the way the cookie crumbles.
