Acer Aspire Problem - Red and Black Screen Solved/Closed

Hello, 
When I turned on my Acer Aspire 5120 WLMI labtop, the screen is a little bit red then turn black after a few minutes. I pressed Fn+F6, I got the screen back, but turned black again after a few minutes. I don't know what the problem is. Is it because of battery? adapter? cable? hard drive? or...? Please give me some advices of how to troubleshoot the problem. I don't know what I should buy for replacement. The LED light is green on the battery and power indicators when I turn on the labtop.

Hello Do,

This is a frequent problem with laptops when the back lights in the screen need to be replaced.

I suggest that you take in for repair to have the lights changed.

Hi

If it was the inverter, I think that your screen would be totally black from the beginning.

As for the cost, it all depends on where you live on this planet as there is no comparaison between continents and countries.  Personnally, I never had my backlights replaced.  I suggest you avoid large chain stores, they often lack the expertise and will charge you an arm and a leg.
