Hello der,
My problem is that i want to install windows-xp through pendrive and i followed the steps which has been given on the link provided by you. But i got fail after processing 7-8 steps. I made my pendrive bootable and then i copied windows files to it after that i restarted my system by sellecting the option boot from pendrive then there it started in windows-98 doss mode then i typed "sys d:" but nothing happened and i got "invalid drive specification" in responce(message). I tried many times making changes in bios setup but finally the result was same "invalid drive specification". The system could not be transfered. I have an intel orignal mother board, samsung 80gb hard disk and 1gb kingston pendrive. Plese guied me to complete this task.
Thanking you

Yours truely

hi,
have you enabled the pen drive in the BIOS setup?
if not, do it.
then try again.
