XP Rebooting Loop

Hello all,

Please be patient, I'm not the most technically minded :-(
My home pc is stuck in a reboot loop (windows xp) - we came home, turned pc on and was welcomed by the BSOD - we have no idea why this started as pc was shut down properly beforehand.

I can't get into safe mode to do a CHKDSK as pc just continues to reboot - tried putting in the XP disk to repair, but I don't even get the option to ....

ANY advice would be so greatly appreciated, please

Go in to your boot menu and see if it is set on boot from cd or dvd if not change it so it is, if it is i dont know what it will be goodluck.
