Acer aspire 3810tzg display very dim

Hello, i have a aceras3810tzg note book which is still in warranty . the other day i update the bios and after couple of days the screen goes black and dim . it seem to me that the fan and processor still workin but not showing the display. The external monitor works fine on it. i have also tried the trick of 60 sec power button etc but it didnt work. i am on holidays rite now so cant send the notebook to acer service centre. (P.S : this model have a led lcd) any help will me much appreaciated. cheers

hi is there a Fn key and a sun with a up button if there is you need to press and hold the fn key and press the brightness up button
