Hello,
Yesterday i tried to make a usb boot device with an 8gig usb flash disk. It failed on installing all the files correctly, and now my computer recognizes it, but i cant format it back to normal. Thanks in advance!

I believe that you need a 4 GB flash drive formatted in FAT or FAT16 if you want to use it as a Windows XP install device. 8 GB is too big for FAT formatting.

You might try the HP Flash formatting tool from this site:

Good Luck
