Having problem in formatting the flash drive

Hello,
could you kindly help me on how can i fix my 4gb flash drive.. because while i was saving a file to my flash drive my baby brother suddenly turn the switch off.. causing my laptop to shut down automatically.. and it shut down while i was saving a file.. when i opened the computer again.. to continue what i was saving suddenly i can't open my flash drive.. when i try to open it.. it would just say the my flash drive is not formatted and when i try to format it.. it would say that format can't be completed.. what should i do to be able to use it again??? Please help me with my flash drive

Hello,

Try this 1

1) Try formatting your flash drive from the "Disk Management".

Click on Start --> In search box, type diskmgmt.msc and press Enter.

"Disk Management" will be opened. Now right-click on your "Flash Drive", select

the option "Format" and follow the instructions.

2) If the problem still exists, then try to format your flash drive with "HP USB Disk

Storage Format Tool". Click on the below link and download it.
