Having difficulty loading Outlook Express 6

Hello,
I am having difficulty since switching to Comcast X-finity server in loading my Outlook Express. I usually use Mozilla as a browser, is that the problem? It always says it is not responding, then I have to do control alt delete and try to fix it that way. I have to do this two or three times. I am so frustrated! Can you help? I really prefer need to use m y outlook express because I have to have something to download my email as I assist people and have to save messages, etc.

When I finally do get it loaded, I get the messages three or four times (depending on how long I was trying to load it).
