Greetings,
My friend Ambucias has given the solution but let me throw my grain of salt.
If the date is set in the past you will get these types of errors. You might have a problem with BIOS battery if the date is rest to the original date of BIOS manufacturer.
I also suggest you go to Windows Update and check for the optional update for Root Certificates and install them as offered (as well as any critical and important updates you have not yet installed).
Regards.

Dear Duke,
It's very simple to solve. It's just that your system is living in another era. Just ajust the time and date and the certificate error will vanish

How many of those grains do you have or was this the only one you had left in the shaker?

I have so many grains of salt this one but it is specially reserved for users in urgency ;-)

Salt is bad for hypertension! Since, Duke is having a certificate error with only Yahoo, I'm sure that my solution will work perfectly without any salt addition, lets just leave simmer. However, perhaps as you suggested, that a battery change would be welcome seasoning.
Very best regards

I never doubg of your answer, far from my mind, like I said It was just one of my thousand grains of salt ;-)
But I think that your first solution will be good for Duke.
Best Regards
