Hello,
So i have another of the notoriously great hps...its an hp dv2000 series. I power it up and nothing...the blue leds light up and the hdd buzzes for about 2 secs...the disc drive spins for about 5 secs...but no boot...i cant get into BIOS...i connected to an external monitor but no luck...i've tried taking out the battery...it started by locking up in internet explorer then it quit all together...for awhile it would boot up about every 30 tries but would make it to the windows loading screen that would be all...but now its as good as a rock. Im a big fan of fixing it myself...i have heard that it could be the motherboard... Any suggestions?
