No " @ " Key

Hello,



My son has a gateway laptop. He recently had to do a total restore due to a virus. When it was started up again the "shift " "2" key no longer typed the "@" sign but is the " (quote) sign. How do I change this back to the other default.

I suggest you check the keyboard language. It sounds like it has defaulted to French.
