All lights on, but laptop doesn't start-up

Hello,

I've had my laptop for about 4 years....and it was still working fine a few days ago. Just now though I tried to tuen it on and all it gave me was a black screen. So I forced shut down by holding the power button n turned it on again. This time it goes to a black screen n says something like...Your previous restore failed and asks me do I want to recover again or boot normally...so when I try to scroll with the arrow keys it doesn't work, and neither does the enter button.

So I try to turn it off again and it does the same thing.


Then I try to turn it on again and now there's only a black screen.mall the lights on the laptop seem to be normal though and I can still hear it running like normal.

Any idea what's wrong? Would I need to bring it to get it checked out n fixed? My warranty's long over tho...

Help please??
