Sandisk cruzer 16G not visible on Win 7 PC

Hello,

I recently got a Windows 7 laptop. It works great, and I have had no problems until now... I picked up a sandisk cruzer 16G a couple months ago, and when I went to stick it in the computer to put my files on there I realized that it is not coming up anywhere on my computer. In fact, the computer doesn't seem to recognize it at all. I have tried a few things, but nothing seems to work. Do I need to download something to get it to work? Please help!

Hello,

Try this:

1-Go to start

2-Right click on my computer

3-Click on manage then click on storage

4-Then click on disk management

5-Right click on your device and select add letters and path,window will pop up then click on Add then select an alphabet different of C and click on Ok.

Go to "My Computer" to see if it is showing there.

It didn't work, I can't click on change add letters and path.what to do

its not even showing there......in disk mgmt what to do
