Acer Aspire 6530 - Wont Turn on Closed

Question

Hello all, having an issue with my laptop. It will not boot up, it doesnt even make it to the bios screen / company logo. Taking out the battery and running it off the mains has no effect.

When I press the power on button the following happens...

Power button lights up blue
All of the touch buttons light up blue (the ones by the screen)
One blue light down by the touch pad turns on.
The hard drive spins
The fan turns on for all of a second then turns off 

The lights and hard drive stay on for 4-5 seconds then the laptop turns itsself of and tries to turn back on again. The screen does nothing at all, doesnt light up.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hello,  

Try this 1  

Remove the USB cable.  

Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power button for 60  

seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and later  

put the battery back into the laptop.

Hello - this didn't fix the issue.

Do you think it might be a motherboard fault as it is not reaching the POST or BIOS

Maybe a motherbord issue. Will the fan run when you turn on your laptop?
