Title...formating a harddisk stops at checking the previous version of microsof

Hello,



gud morning and how was ur night.As 4 me i had a nice one.emmm. Pls i encountered a problem when i tried to format a harddisk wit xp2005 after pressing f8 to agree and examine the size it stops at checking previous version of microsoft keyboard stop working but the mesage stil on screen thank you i rely on ua harddisk wit xp2005 after pressing f8 to agree and examine the size it stops at checking previous version of microsoft keyboard stop working but the mesage stil on screen thank you i rely on u

Regarding your issue, try this and let me know:

1) Try formatting your flash drive from the "Disk Management".

Click on Start --> Run --> Type diskmgmt.msc and press Enter.

"Disk Management" will be opened. Now right-click on your "Hard DIsk Drive", select

the option "Format" and follow the instructions.

2) If the problem still exists, then try to format your flash drive with "HP USB Disk

Storage Format Tool". Click on the below link and download it.
