Hello,
My brother in-law had trouble with his PC and he decided to install a fresh copy of Win XP pro, after he did that, his 3rd and 4th internal HDs are not showing up (at the time of install he had the 5th and sixth HDs which are external connected). I checked it out for him, but can't seem to pin point the problem. is this a known issue? Any sugesstion/help would be appreciated. devise manager and myComputer/HD manage only shows the two. Raid is not on and the HDs are not chained and are not the same size either. they do carry a lot of data. Thanks,

In general it's not a good idea to install Windows with multiple drives attached. I always install with one drive only and then add the other drives one at a time.
He could disconnect the drives - restart Windows - shut the PC down - connect 1 of the drives - restart windows.
This might work - I see no reason why it will not. Good Luck
