Hello everyone! It's me again :D

Whenever I touch, move or reposition my comuter laptop screen it gets real jumpy and shaky and it breaks images up into white horizontal lines. It stops if I bring the screen to100 degrees and not touch it too much but this limits my use of it.

It seems that all this began after I got rid of that stinking rogue bug. The computer is working well otherwise thanks to you guys and Malwarebytes but is this new problem a coincidence or related to the rogue? Is this something I can get rid off or is this a hardware issue? My laptop is a Toshiba 105S Satelite series bought new in 8/06 (5 years old)and running Windows XP. It's also out of warranty.

Thanks in advance for helping.

Most likely this is a hardware issue with the cable connecting the motherboard to the display screen. Only a hands-on analysis can confirm this suspicion. This is not a super expensive repair. But, repair might not be warranted on a old laptop.

Good Luck

Hi,

Due to the problems in the inverter or due to the troubles in the cable connection usually screen flickering happens in the display of Laptop. As the inverters are responsible to supply power to the back-lit of the screen, any problem in the inverter would create troubles. By replacing your inverter and by checking the connections of the cable in your HP laptop, this problem could be easily resolved.
