Please Help! Explorer.exe - Application Error

Need help with an Explorer.exe - Application Error :

Error message reads: " The exception unknown software exception (0xc00000fd) occurred in the application at location 0x7c801872. "

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program.

I have clicked on both several times plus shutting system tasks down and this error prompt keeps popping up! I was saving a psd file in photoshop when this occurred and then the file that i saved is now locked and the error prompt keeps popping up.

Please Advise ... Muchly appreciated.

when do you face this issue? at startup or when you work on photoshop?

It may be due to different issues like Applications,virus so need more details

Step 1:

Go to run and type

sfc /scannow

Allow it to run ,please insert your OS CD when it requires
