Can't find internet explorer on my computer

Hello,

I am trying to make internet explorer my default browser because I need it to run a work program. My computer tells me it is downloaded but I don't have a desktop icon nor is it in my list of programs. Firefox is what I have been using. Jean

did you install it?

Go to run and type

iexplore


Now go to Help tab-About internet explorer
Check the IE version(let us know if it matches with one installled by you)

@Sundar,

Good question about the version as IE9 will not run with Vista only with 7.
