Hello lady!
Well you know, it's quite simple... I'll try to do a summary of all i know about TIMS!!
For users that want to use the Auto-TIMS III
in a central office or test centre environment,
Consultronics offers a software program that
allows the unit to be controlled via a PC. This
program, called Visi-TIMS, uses a graphical
user interface and offers the user a number
of advantages compared to operating the
Auto-TIMS III from the front panel.
Using a PC allows measurement results to
be stored to a hard disk drive, vastly
increasing the number of tested circuits that
can be stored. Visi-TIMS also allows Auto-
TIMS III's located in other locations to be
controlled via dial-up or leased line modems.
Some users find it more convenient to work
with the easy to view display monitors
available for PC's. The Visi-TIMS software
displays graphical representations of one or
two Auto-TIMS III's on the same display.
