I have DELL laptop too. The problem often comes to me is cpu temperature too high.
If summer, please use a laptop fan to cool your cpu or the dell would shut down automatically.
If the windows 7 cannot start up, you can reload the system using cd or dvd. Or if you can enter bios, press F12 to enter the safe mode to check the problem.
Or you need help from local pc repair shops.
