Unable to start my new computer.

Hello,

I purchased a new computer yesterday and was trying to set it up today. when tried start it all i could see was a black colored screen with a message saying " Reboot and select proper device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" . any body who can help me please do let me know, I'd very grateful to him.

Check your harddrive connections, then

Go to BIOS(press F2 or DEL at bootup)

Go to Boot menu

Set the first boot device as "Hard disk"

Save the settings and exit from the BIOS
