System unit and Screen

Hello, so my computer when i start it normally the screen is jus blank and only some of the words show up on the screen and also when i try it normally the system unit has a red light on it that appears everytime and when i start it on safe mode it works fine but part of the screen is black doe snayone have an idea whats wrong with it
