Installing conexant universal device

Hello,
sir when i formatted my computer I find a problem put sounds to it again because when i install conexant universal device it says it has not found the MEDIA device..i dont know the best to do it...send me links if possible...and give me any options..my laptop has sp 2...
I welcome all help
